Principal's Message

Dear Web Page Visitor,
Welcome to Timberline Elementary School! We are located in the southeast Denver metro area in the city of Centennial, Colorado, and we are part of the highly-acclaimed Cherry Creek School District. Timberline serves approximately 625 students in grades kindergarten through fifth as well as nearly 100 preschool students. We hope that you will find our website helpful regardless of your purpose in accessing it.
Timberline is host to many programs that enhance our school and our core academic programs. We offer opportunities for students to participate in choir, intramurals, student council, band and strings. We also offer gifted and talented enrichment and acceleration for students K-5. Targeted reading interventions are available for students who need extra support and all students participate in art, music, physical education and technology classes on a rotating basis. Families may also access before and after school daycare, kindergarten enrichment, and preschool.
The Timberline teaching and support staff are highly-skilled individuals. Our instructional staff hold licenses in the areas in which they teach and many have advanced degrees. Our staff is comprised of both male and female teachers, and we employ a full spectrum of experience levels from beginning teachers to seasoned veterans. Our goal is to develop the whole child and to make each day special for every student at Timberline. Visitors to Timberline often comment on what a welcoming and friendly staff we have.
As the principal at Timberline, I have the pleasure of working with a community that values education. Parents are involved and supportive. They contribute countless hours of volunteer time by assisting in classrooms or supporting our PTO events. The staff are professionals who are passionate about going the extra mile to do what it takes for each student to experience success. I subscribe to the philosophy that leadership is all about developing the strengths in others and that it is a team effort.
Whether you know a student who attends Timberline Elementary or are just browsing, I hope you find this website helpful. If you are accessing this website because you are moving to our area, I would also encourage you to visit the school and see for yourself what a delightful learning environment this is!
