Mrs. Bowens

Dear Timberwolf Families,

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2025-26 school year! This year at Timberline, our school theme is “One Step + One Pack = Big Impact.” This theme reflects our belief that every small action, whether it’s a moment of effort, a kind word, or a helping hand, contributes to success when we work together as a team. As Timberwolves, we know that individual steps taken with purpose and unity can lead to powerful growth and meaningful change for our students, our school, and our community. Together, we will Embrace, Engage, and Empower every learner to take steps forward, because when we move as one, the impact is big.

Our dedicated classroom teachers provide your child with daily, standards-based instruction designed to support academic growth and success. In addition, your child will participate each day in one of our Integrated Arts programs—Art, Music, or Physical Education. We also offer a range of specialized services to meet diverse learning needs, including Special Education, support for neurodiverse students, English Language Development, Reading and Math Intervention, and Mental Health Services.

Partnering with you is essential to your child's success. We support this partnership through monthly newsletters, weekly classroom updates, and conferences. There are many ways to be involved in your child’s education. Joining PTCO, Accountability, VOICES, or our Watch D.O.G.S organizations provides you with opportunities to engage with and get to know Timberline better.

This year marks my 29th in education and my 6th as the proud principal of Timberline. As a Colorado native, I truly appreciate the beauty of our mountains and blue skies. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. My husband, Stephen, teaches 6th-grade science at Prairie Middle School. We have two wonderful children: Matthew, who works for the Westin in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Sydney, a junior at Pepperdine University. Our corgi, Princeton, keeps us laughing and loving. As a family, we enjoy traveling (especially cruises), painting, singing, and making memories with our extended family.

Please know that my door is always open, and I am excited about working with you. I'm proud to call myself a Timberline Timberwolf and look forward to an outstanding school year!

Go Timberwolves,

Mrs. Bowens
