Parent/Community Involvement Groups

Parent and community involvement strengthens the community around our schools and plays an important role in supporting student learning and well-being. See some ways to be involved.

Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

Timberline's PTO is a nonprofit group that coordinates volunteer efforts to benefit our school and build strong bonds between teachers, school leadership, and families. We fundraise and use the money to support student learning through teacher grants, school improvement projects, and community events.

We are 100% volunteer-led and volunteer-run by people just like you.

School Accountability Committee (SAC)

Timberline's School Accountability Committee (SAC) collaborates with school leadership to increase parent engagement at the school. The SAC studies and makes recommendations about improvement plans, school budgets, and instructional programming.

The SAC is made up of parents, community members, and school staff.

Voices of Color (formerly PASS)

The Voices of Color Committee is comprised of parents, Cherry Creek Schools teachers and administrators, and community members.

Our goal is to foster an inclusive and safe environment to support the success of students of color.

Parent Information Network (PIN)

PIN is a grass-roots, parent-run organization that works in association with, but is not part of, the Cherry Creek School District.

PIN’s mission is to provide informative local and national speakers on topics relevant to current parenting, education and youth-related issues and to provide a forum for parents to connect and create a caring community.
